Hunter Fivecoat

February 19, 2002 — November 27, 2021

Hunter Joshua Fivecoat, age 19, of Filer, Idaho, joined his Heavenly Father and Savior on the morning of November 27, 2021. His passing was sudden, accidental, and unexpected. Our love for him is eternal and never ending, one day our family will be together again and that day will be joyous beyond measure.

Hunter was born in Twin Falls Idaho at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center on February 19, 2002 to Coby and Heather Fivecoat. He graduated from Filer Highschool in the class of 2020.

After graduating he worked at several different locations learning a variety of skills, about a year ago he found that working hard and having a physically challenging job was rewarding. He often spoke of his plans to go to college. Hunter had a thirst for knowledge all of his life, learning came easy to him, he was always able to remember information that he was given once and had the ability to recall it without studying.

Hunter had the ability to make friends with anyone he came in contact with. He was a bright light that people were drawn to, with a smile and laugh that would light up the room. He was fun and loved a good joke, he was kind and supportive, sarcastic and full of personality, he had a way of making others feel important and needed, he was loving and loyal to his friends and family.

Hunter enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved working out and being physically fit and was very proud of his recent success of attaining an “8-pack” which he showed often, so that we could all enjoy his physique.  He did attribute this success to inheriting good genes from his parents and working hard in the gym. Hunter had many interests and was always questioning the reasons why things were the way they were.  He had so many “what-if” questions that ranged from simple daily things to complex questions about the universe or philosophy which led to many deep internet searches for the answer by his father.

Hunter loved his family and had a close relationship with his sister. He spent as much time as he could with her, enjoying long drives listening to music, going to Dutch Bros., and hanging out in her room listening to music and talking into the early morning hours. He loved spending time with his younger nephews and nieces, they were drawn to his fun-loving nature. Almost every family gathering you would find Hunter with a nephew or niece on his shoulders and giving piggyback rides.

Hunter is survived by his parents Coby and Heather (Miller) Fivecoat, siblings Mason Fivecoat, Conner Fivecoat, Kyra Fivecoat all of Filer Idaho. Grandparents Carl and Korinn (Knighton) Fivecoat of Twin Falls Idaho, Rex and Eva RaNae (Furniss) Miller of Filer Idaho, 10 Uncles, 12 Aunts, and numerous cousins who all love him dearly.

Memorial service for Hunter will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 840 West Midway in  Filer, Idaho on Saturday December 4th, 2021 with the viewing starting at 9:00 am and the service starting at 11:30 am, followed by the graveside dedication and burial at the Filer City Cemetery.  The Family is extending an invitation to all those who would like to attend these services for Hunter.
