Irene Edith Amelia Bevers 20 December 1924 – 4 October 2022 The Family of Irene Bevers is sad to report her passing on October 4, 2022. At the age of 97 years, 9 months, 14 days. She is survived by 5 of 6 children, and numerous grand, great and great, great-grandchildren. Irene was born in Big Stone, South Dakota to Theodore Frank Goetsch & Marie Augusta Goetsch. She was proud of her German heritage, as her mother’s family immigrated from Germany to the United States when her mom was 7 years old. They settled in South Dakota and later, Minnesota. Irene married LaVerne Oliver Bevers on April 1, 1944. They were married for 66 years and they raised 6 children; four boys and 2 girls. Her family was most important to her. She provided a good life for her family with all her homemaking skills. We will miss her contagious smile, kindness to all she met, and her sense of humor. All services and arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID. Private Burial for Irene will be held in Escalon, California at a later date.
