James Kenneth Baldwin of Kimberly, Idaho, passed away at St Luke’s Urgent Care in the presence of his wife, Facumia on October 6, 2022, due to complications with end stage COPD. James “Jim” was born in Seattle Washington to Robert Randolph Baldwin and Dorothy June Barber. He graduated from Rising Sun High School in Maryland and entered the United States Air Force in January 23, 1969. James ‘Jim” was married three times during his lifetime. He was married to his first wife Patricia J Branch for 19.5 years; His second wife Gail Lee (who preceded him in death) for 26 years; and found love again with his current wife Facumia Ortiz Imperial for the last 6 years of his life. James “Jim” devoted 20 years of his life serving our country retiring on February 16, 1989. During his service he was awarded the following medals: Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Commendation medal and many service ribbons. He enjoyed fishing and would do so as often as he could. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars and computers. During his later years he became a gamer when age and weather kept him from fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids, biological, adopted or step-children it didn’t matter; he loved them all. He lived to see the smiles on faces and would make goofy faces and sounds just to make us laugh. He volunteered to coach football and soccer teams and encouraged us to reach for our goals by working hard. He was a stubborn man, but he had patience, understanding and endless love. A few of his children attribute his love as being their savior from a path of no return and for that he will forever be their hero. James ‘Jim” was predeceased by his Father, Robert Baldwin; Mother, Dorothy Vrankovich; step-father Louis Vrankovich; and second wife Gail Lee Baldwin. He is survived by his Siblings Robin Farra; Dennis (Marcella) Baldwin; Karen Damato; Louis (Lisa) Vrankvich Jr as well as his nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his first wife Patricia, their children Elmore (Shirley) Baldwin; Dorothy Rose Baldwin and James (Melissa) Baldwin. Grand children from this union, Catherine R. Baldwin, Kelsey M. Baldwin, Bram A. Baldwin and Ella B. Baldwin. He is also survived by his step-children for his late wife Gail: Gailee (Tyrone) Smith, Lance Dalton, Joseph (Naomi) Dalton, Jessica (Charles Nicol) Dalton, Cloe Ann (Brandon) Lawson, Michael Dalton and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his current wife Facumia Ortiz Imperial, her five children and eleven grandchildren. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery on October 14, 2022 at 11:00AM.
