James “Jim” Edward Eiselein, 77, of Hansen, passed away on October 12, 2022, at his home with his loving, devoted wife, of natural causes. Jim was born in Great Falls, Montana on September 8, 1945, the son of Joseph Martin Eiselein and Erma Celeste Gannon. Jim had a colorful life, full of all kinds of experiences. He served in the armed forces, worked in Las Vegas, traveled the country, raised a family, and captured his experiences with film. Jim had a passion for photography and storytelling – something that everyone who knew him will miss deeply. In 1965, he married Kathy Smith and from that union, Greg and Lyssa Eiselein were born. In 1977, Jim found his soulmate, Delores. They were married in 1985 and shared 46 years together. Delores was Jim’s perfect counterpart, keeping him together as the heartbeat of their family. Jim worked for many years at The Times News and in electrical sales with both Crum and Gem Electric. In his later years, he worked at Home Depot where he could meet new people and find new “buddies.” Jim was an instant friend to everyone, and he was always at his happiest surrounded by friends and family for a “party, party.” Jim loved holidays and always celebrated with joy. Surviving Jim are his wife Delores Eiselein, his children Lyssa (Scott) Thomas of Twin Falls, Christy (Dee) Walters of Blackfoot, Tracy (Jason) Miller of Twin Falls, and Gregory (Tanya) Eiselein of Manhattan, KS; his grandchildren Misty (Brandon) Berheim of Kimberly, Ryan Tucker of Twin Falls, Kacie Tucker of Twin Falls, Bradley (Georgia) Miller of Hansen, Nicholas Miller of Twin Falls, Rachel Stewart of Twin Falls, Allison (Keith) Ketchum of Twin Falls, Eliot Eiselein of Manhattan, KS, and Emerson Eiselein of Manhattan, KS; and his great-grandchildren Sydney, Andrew, Erica, Eryona, Emilya, Hannah, Silas, and Quinn. A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date. “You were a treasure-hunter extraordinaire, scratch ticket fool, and had an incredible sweet tooth! You loved your “buddies” and always believed the more the merrier. Most of all I will miss your positive attitude and sense of humor. Your banter with everyone, especially my sis, will be missed. Thank you for loving my sister and nieces unconditionally and being a part of my family.”
