James Clifford Myers, 86, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 2, 2023. James Clifford Myers, known to family and friends as Jim, was born on July 11, 1936 to Merle and Mason Myers in Port Byron, Illinois. Growing up, Jim helped his family run a number of different businesses in Illinois and Iowa. In 1967, Jim met Karon and they wed in 1968. Jim and Karon spent 56 years pursuing adventures together. Jim was previously married and had three sons, Anthony, Bruce, and Mark. Mark passed away in 1978. Jim graduated from trade school in Omaha, Nebraska in heating and air conditioning and spent several years as a tradesman in that field. He later became an electrician and worked for many years in that trade. Jim had a number of different careers during his life and was also a logging truck driver in Montana and a long-haul truck owner/operator. Jim was always known for being a talented tradesman and handy around the house and helped many family and friends with projects. Throughout his life, Jim was known as the friend to call if you needed help fixing something. Jim is lovingly remembered by family and friends and will be most remembered for his willingness to help others, his wit and sense of humor with a ready smile and laughter, his ability to fix anything, and for his dedication and love for his family. He enjoyed fishing and camping and restoring classic cars. Jim enjoyed going on adventures with his boys and spending time with family and friends. Jim was predeceased by his son Mark, his brother Gary, and his parents Merle and Mason. Jim is survived by his wife Karon, his sons Anthony and Bruce, his grandchildren Molly, Levi, Mason, Lily and Evan and his brothers Charles, Kim, and Michael. Celebration of life for James Myers will be held on Saturday, October 7 from 2-4 PM in the Hospitality Room at Best Western Plus, 1377 Blue Lakes Blvd N, Twin Falls, ID
