Jesus Suarez Jr. (1960 – 2024)
Beloved husband, father, and brother who was born on April 12, 1960, to the parents of Lorenza H. Suarez and Jesus Suarez Sr. passed away on May 3, 2024, surrounded by family. When he was only a few days old they moved from Texas to California where he grew up. This is where he met the love of his life Rosa M Suarez after falling from his bike, at the age of 18. They soon later moved to Idaho and were married on August 13, 1980. They were blessed with 43 physical years together and will remain married spiritually for many more. A year later they were blessed with their first child Araceli, who was a bright and smart child. She thought she’d be the only one until her parents were blessed with another baby girl in 1986 who they named Roxann.
Only three days after moving from California to Idaho in 1980, Jesus “who liked to go by Jesse” started his career job working at a potato factory where they make French fries. Jesse was a devoted and hard-working husband who always put his family first. He always made sure his family was taken care of. During this time, he didn’t have a car, but he saved his first couple of checks for a bicycle. Sometime later he was able to save enough for a car. He devoted himself to Lamb Weston for 43 years.
Jesse enjoyed the great outdoors, he loved to go camping, fishing, hunting, having family BBQ’s and he also had an eye for cars. He was also a huge fan of football. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, and he enjoyed teasing his son-in-law Robert who is a 49ers fan. He also enjoyed just talking in the garage having a good time. Jesse also found great joy in watching wrestling with his grandkids. Once he became comfortable with a smartphone TikTok was his thing. He would send 30 or 40 TikTok’s an hour and would ask us, “Did you see that video I sent you?”. In 2004, his youngest daughter Roxann made his world by blessing him with his first grandchild a little boy. Jesse was the first one to go see him, and he didn’t walk, but kind of ran to go see his first grandbaby. Little did he know he would gain 4 other grandchildren. Jesse loved his grandkids and would do anything for them.
Jesse is survived by the love of his life Rosa M Suarez, his daughters Araceli Suarez, and Roxann (Robert) Jesse, his 4 grandchildren Gabriel Jesse, Saleen Jesse, Dominic Jesse, and Mya Galvan, all are which from Twin Falls Idaho, his 4 sisters, Alicia (Juan) Martinez of Laredo Texas, Rosa (Tomas) Ayon of Olivehurst, California, Melinda M Guerra of Laredo Texas and last but certainly not least, his baby sister Magdalena (Ralph) Medellin of Laredo Texas. He had lots of nieces and nephews that he loved and would always keep in touch with.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Damien Jesse, his mother Lorenza H. Suarez, and his father Jesus Suarez Sr.
Jesse will be greatly missed by his family, nieces, nephews, and all his friends. He was a kind and big-hearted man who would do anything for anyone.
