Joanna June Schade

Joanna June Schade, a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, and friend, was born March 3, 1956, and left this world on August 19, 2024. Her life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and resilience, qualities that shone brightly throughout her years.

Joanna’s spirit was remarkable—a whimsical blend of fun, strength, silliness, and unwavering determination. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, a passion that defined her very essence. Those who knew her understood the depth of her devotion, especially to her cherished Boys and her adored grandchildren: Vincent, Andrew, Peyton, Jedidiah, Malachi, Ezekiel, and Jericho. They were the lights of her life, and her heart brimmed with pride and joy in every moment spent with them wether that be cheering them on while they jump their bikes on homemade ramps, playing video games together or on the floor building Legos. 

From an early age, Joanna had a deep love for fishing. The tranquility of nature and the thrill of the catch brought her unparalleled happiness. When she wasn’t by the water, you could find her embracing new adventures alongside her partner Leo, whether it be the camaraderie of bowling or the joyous rhythm of square dancing. She approached these activities with enthusiasm and a fervor that was infectious to all who participated.

Joanna’s memory extends far beyond her hobbies. While most have left us, her parents and siblings have paved the path she now treads in eternity. There will always be an empty space for them, but they have undoubtedly played their part in shaping the extraordinary person she was.

Her legacy will be carried on by her friends and loved ones, including her children Brad, Gary, and Jenny, who will forever hold the cherished memories of Joanna close to their hearts. While she may no longer be present physically, the fun, strength, and love that defined her character will resonate within those who had the honor to know her.
