JoAnne Marie Dixon, 75, long-time resident of Twin Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March10, 2020 at her home in Twin Falls. Born on April 19, 1944 in Caldwell, Idaho, she was the daughter of Leo and Nora Ward. She grew up in Caldwell and the majority of her life was spent in Caldwell and Twin Falls, Idaho. She married Roy Dixon in February 1967. After their separation, JoAnne met the love of her life, Rick Matthews, who she was married to until his death in 1993. She then married her best friend Dennis Amundson who died in 2012. JoAnne is most well-known for selling Home Interiors to the people of Twin Falls and surrounding areas. She was crowned Miss Idaho in recognition of being #1 in Idaho for her Home Interiors decoration expertise. JoAnne enjoyed camping, spending time in Jarbidge, NV and riding “Kermit” her green 4wheeler everywhere she could with a huge, beautiful smile on her face! JoAnne is survived by her son, Scott (Margo) Dixon in Meridian, Idaho and daughter, Annette (Damon) Rickard in England and grandchildren Dustin and Courtney Frazier. She is also survived by her sister, Leora Mitchell, step-daughter, Terry Bonham-Dixon as well as several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and long-time friend/companion Frank Southern plus many close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Ward, sister, Delyla McKinsey, ex-husband Roy Dixon, husband Rick Matthews and husband Dennis Amundson.
