Joanne Rose Hartman

Heaven gained an angel on January 10, 2023, Joanne Rose Hartman. She was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, November 21, 1937. She was the eldest daughter of three daughters. In 1954, as an adult, she moved to Riverside, California, where she met the love of her life, Jimmy Hartman, while he was stationed in the Marines. They married and settled down and had a family of three sons and two daughters. They lived in Riverside for 15 years, then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. 

Mom was a hard worker and loved people. She worked at Safeway in Lynwood, Smith's, and Fred Meyer. She also was the lover of flowers and plants and loved to garden. She is survived by her sweetheart of 68 years, Jimmy Hartman, her two sisters, Camille Lippincott of Barstow, California and Suzanne and Tom Vlcek of Anaheim, California, her children, Jamie and Irene Hartman of Anaheim, California, Janet and Russ Sylten Hartman of Brownsville, California, April and Paul Panella of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jay and Terri Hartman of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Jeff and Grayce Hartman of Twin Falls, Idaho, 22 grandchildren and great-granchildren. At Mom's request, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Susan and Bill Rehwalp, all the staff at Canyon Retirement of Twin Falls, and Heritage Home Health and Hospice.
