Jorge’s Obituary Jorge, age 30, of Reno, Nevada passed in peace at Northern Nevada Medical Center surrounded by his family on August 12, 2021. Jorge was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 16, 1991 to Jose L Gonzalez and Esperanza Gonzalez. He graduated from Jackpot High School and later would move to Reno, Nevada. While in Reno Jorge started working in a few retail stores, and eventually found a job at The Row casinos and resorts. He would continue to work here up until the time of his passing. It is widely known to those closest to him how much he enjoyed working at The Row, and was able to build a great deal of friendships while working there. He was known as being a loyal fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers which you would often find him cheering for them whenever on national television. While Jorge was only 30 at the time of his death, but he lived life to the fullest and lived an extraordinary life. He was known as a very enthusiastic person and his boundless energy is something that drew people to him. The way he lived his life inspired many. He was a bundle of positivity, a beacon of possibility giving us all the strength to move on. His presence and aura truly brought many joy. Jorge will always be remembered for being a spark, a light in many people’s lives no matter how dark the world around them got. Jorge is survived by his father Jose L. Gonzalez of Jackpot, mother Esperanza Gonzalez of Jackpot, sister Rocio Gonzalez Buhl, Lupe Gonzalez of Jackpot, and two nieces & two nephews. A memorial service viewing will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home in Twin Falls, ID on Sunday August 22, 2021 from 5-7. A mass will be held at St. Edwards Church in Twin Falls at 2 on Monday August 23 followed by a burial service at the Sunset Memorial Park.
