Joe Powlus

Joseph Lee Powlus, 72 of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous fight with an extended illness. He was born October 14, 1950, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Joe is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Wilma Powlus; children: Jon (Becky) Powlus of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Brandi Shroll (Brendan Smedick) of Kuna, Idaho; grandchildren: Andy (Nicole) Powlus, Dallyn Powlus, McKenzie Powlus, Savanah Smedick, Brayden Shroll, Aliza Powlus, Ashton Shroll, Curiese Powlus, Clarissa Powlus, and Aythan Powlus; great-grandchildren: Navie Powlus, Wrenly Powlus, and Jovie Powlus; siblings: Jackie Smith of Twin Falls, Idaho, Brent Powlus of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Bryan (Amy) Powlus of Eagle Mountain, Utah; sister-in-law: Ann Powlus of El Paso, Texas. Joe also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends he cherished. Joe is preceded in death by his parents: Jack and Stella; brothers: Charles, Michael, and Steven; brother-in-law: Jay Smith; and granddaughter: Kelsey Kaye. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home.
