Kenneth Frank Ling 80, of Twin Falls, passed away July 3, 2023 in Twin Falls. Ken was born July 11, 1942, to William Frank Ling and Rosa Ruth (Loveless) Ling in Burley Idaho. Ken graduated from Filer High School in 1960, attended Utah State University and later transferred to Idaho State University. He married the love of his life (Lillian McCord) November 9, 1963. Ken is the father of 2 children, Brad (Loma) Ling and Nancy (Doug) Albrethsen. Grand Father to 5 Grand Sons, Jared (Sarah) Ling, Jayden (Debora) Ling, Grayson (Stormy) Ling, Parker ( Shandee) Ling and Rhyn Ling. Great Grandfather to 4 1/2 great-grandchildren Hunter, Emma, Julia, and Harmony and one future Grandson due later this year. Ken was always a hard worker throughout his life, never to be accused of not putting in an honest day’s work. Ken was a firefighter for the Forest Service. Ken Joined the Air Force in 1966, where he worked as a Bomber Mechanic. Worked at the Twin Falls Airport. He spent the majority of his working career in Facility Management in the original Kellwood Building South of Town where outlasted the next 4 businesses that operated out of the building until in his 50’s became a realtor for Century 21. Ken enjoyed camping, motorcycling, trap shooting, woodworking, and furniture projects and really anything outdoors. Most important to him was caring for his yard and making his yard look amazing. Even in the day before his death told his family the one thing, he missed the most in the last few years was doing yard work with his wife. Ken was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his wife Lillian. He is survived by his sister Wilma Farnsworth. The Family would like to extend their personal appreciation to the amazing Staff at Grace Assisted Living where Ken lived for the last 5 years. Thanks for the care, love and friendship you all extended him. Service will be held in his honor at Parkes Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls Idaho on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
