On May 21st, 2020 Curtis Kent Tail passed to the afterlife at the age of 62 years. Curtis was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 5th, 1958. For most of his life, Curtis lived in Kimberly and Twin Falls, Idaho. Curtis worked throughout his lifetime in the construction and the iron working industries. Curtis was deeply loved by all his family members who are grieving his passing. Preceded in death by his father Jimmie Tail and mother, Shirly Ruth Tail. His grandparents, William Warren and Bessie Belle Burtt and his beloved sister Jiwana Lynn Tail-Top Sky. He is survived by his older brother, Jimmie William Tail. Surviving daughters include Sarah Rose Bean, Cheyenne Tail, and Shelby Tail. Surviving sons include Taylor Warren Tail, and Jimmie Kent Tail. Curtis also had a loving relationship with all his grandchildren, he was very proud of them all. Surviving grandchildren include: Erin Rosalie Tail, Bessie Tail, Ellie Helen Tail, Isaac Craig Tail, Matthew Issiah Glass, Lillian Rose Smith, and Ayiana Marie Bean and Katie Alana Soto. He also had a loving relationship with his nieces and nephews, Amanda Diaz, niece, Asia Tail, niece, and Dexx Diaz, nephew. With special mention of his best friend and caretaker Candace Jackson who took care of him as he struggled with his health. One thing Curits enjoyed immensely was sitting quietly by a creek, river or lake, fishing pole in hand, taking in all of the beauty of Earth Mother. He was known for waking up before the sun came out, grabbing his coffee at the gas station near his house before heading out to Dog Creek or Silver Creek, his two favorite places to fish. He always carried Tic Tacs in his pocket. He once told his granddaughter that he always carried them, because his own grandfather had carried them, especially when going fishing. Curtis was proud of his Native Heritage and his grandchildren the most. He was also very loved within the Twin Falls community and will be missed by many. For Curtis’ memorial service, he will be cremated, and his ashes released in a private Native American ceremony. A public Celebration of Life will be held at The Hideout on June 6th, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. All who knew him are welcome to join us.
