Larry Raymond Miller of Twin Falls, Idaho died in the local hospital on September 3, 2020 at the age of 78 from a ruptured aorta. He was born in Nampa, Idaho November 2, 1941 and graduated from Emmett High School. On a cold, blustery December 28 in 1985, he married Louise Davis Menard. They would have celebrated 35 years this winter. In his youth Larry and his friend performed as clowns in the bull riding events at rodeos. Following high school Larry enlisted in the Marine Corps and served a total of four years. After his military service he was a long haul driver for forty years and ended his career in 2008. Retirement was good for him to be able to relax and enjoy life. He served on the board of directors for Magic Valley Reined Cow Horse Association and helped with the activities over the years. He was preceded in death by his mother (Arline Bergstedt) , his father (Harold Raymond“Bud” Miller Sr), and his brother Richard Miller. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Louise Davis Miller, one daughter, Tina Marshall, and four grandchildren (Dustin, Trystan, Shania, Alexis), and his brother Harold Miller (Connie). Services will be Thursday, September 10 at Parke’s Funeral Home on Kimberly Road in Twin Falls, Idaho. Viewing will be at 12 noon, service at 1:00, social hour at 2:oo and Interment at 3:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park. It is suggested that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society.
