Lindsay Cole Petersen

April 6, 1982 — January 29, 2022

Lindsay Cole, "Linny P", "Buzz", Petersen made his earthly exit January 29, 2022. While professionals cite COVID as the official culprit, family suspect he was avoiding his upcoming fortieth birthday here and opted instead to celebrate with his mom. Lindsay spent the first half of his life terrorizing the streets of Bear River City, Utah. He then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, often returning to BRC to spread some love and shenanigans with life-long friends. Lin lived life on his terms, unless the Department of Fish and Wildlife, or Corrections, told him otherwise. He was larger than life with a contagious smile, a hearty laugh, and a wicked sense of humor. You could always count on Lindsay for a good story accompanied by full-character impressionist acting. He'd tell you about catching the biggest trout ever recorded at the Honeyville Pond, or finally getting that buck with a record-breaking spread - all in dramatic fashion. You'd just know these were exaggerated tales until you read the articles in the paper backing his claim. Lindsay was preceded in death by his mom, Carol Linda Hall Petersen. Their bond was great, and he was often seen carrying her urn, taking her for drives, and talking to her for hours. It is just that her ashes be buried with him. Lin loved his family, his friends, his bike, nature, music, God, and Jen. He is survived by his dad, Evan, three crazy sisters, Debbi, Kami, and Mamie, two nieces, Danni and Harmony, his nephew Travis, his fiancé Jen, and many cousins whom he loved as siblings.
