January 21, 1933 – December 24, 2020 Irene Luella Champlin, 87, of Twin Falls, Idaho peacefully passed away on December 24, 2020 at the Canyons Retirement Center. Luella was born January 21, 1933 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Jess and Elsie Dean. She was adopted when she was 13 by her grandparents, Charles and Mary Burns. She met and married Virgil William Champlin on … 1954. She worked in the seed industry for many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. They had many wonderful adventures taking all of the grandkids camping and fishing. One of her favorite camping spots was the Wood River Campground, where the grandkids fished and hiked to the bear cave. She loved growing flowers and cacti. She loved bowling and playing Pinochle with many different groups over the years. She and Dad had many wonderful adventures with their dear friends, Clyde and Dorothy Burney. Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Champlin. Luella is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Les) Poe; and Iris Hawkins both of Twin Falls. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brad (Kate) Poe of Laramie, Wyoming; Stefanie Murphy of Twin Falls; Alexis (Mark) Pearson of Hansen; Sarah Cazier of Jerome; and nine great grandchildren.
