Lynn Joseph Hochstrasser, 71, of Eden Idaho passed away March 27, 2023, at St. Luke's Magic Valley Twin Falls from Cardiac Arrest and Kidney Disease with the comfort of his children surrounding him by his side. Lynn Joseph Hochstrasser was born in Boise, Idaho on December 16, 1951, to Max Leon Hochstrasser of Boise, Idaho, and Majorie Ellen Hochstrasser of Jerome, Idaho. He graduated from Borah High in Boise Idaho. Lynn was married to Janet Lee Hochstrasser for 15 years until they divorced in 2001. Lynn was an active member of the LDS church all of his life. He served in the Army for 3 years after high school. He enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards with his kids and grandkids, playing pinochle with his son-in-law, watching all sports, collecting coins, figurines, and books, he loved camping whenever he could. He is survived by his daughter Joylene (Coree) Lynn, Rudolph (Searra) Hochstrasser, Kymberly (Wade) Lange, and Debra Hochstrasser and grandkids Nicholas and Kandyce Lynn, Amelia Milner, Ashlee Lange, and Ivory Hochstrasser also survived by his only surviving brother Jonathan Hochstrasser of Sacramento, California and his children. He is preceded in death by his mom, and dad, his 2 brothers Dale and David, and his 3 grandsons, Ashtyn Lynn, Nolan, and Gary Hochstrasser. Funeral Services will be held on April 7th, 2023 at the LDS church in Hazelton at 11:00 A.M. with viewing beginning at 9:30 am before the funeral starts. Lunch to follow immediately after the funeral services and Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Twin Falls Cemetery, Twin Falls, ID.
