Margret Ann Livingston passed away of natural causes on July 26, 2021, at the age of 90. Known as Maggie to most who knew her, she was born in 1930 in Wabash, IN, and despite a tragic period during her childhood being spend in a children’s home, she and her siblings were raised by her loving father once he returned from service in the Navy. As a young woman, Maggie pursued a variety of talents and interests that seemed to come natural to her. She enjoyed horse riding, piano playing, baton twirling, and vocal harmonizing. She was even said to have associated and sang with a young Patsy Cline. Margaret married her adoring husband, Robert Livingston, on January 3rd, 1948, when she was 18. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage before Rob’s passing in 2019. Together, Rob and Maggie raised 8 children of their own, adopted one grandson, and took in many other grandchildren, friends, and family over the years. The couple endured the passing of 5 of their adult children, who sadly left this world before them. We know she is finally at peace to be reunited with her siblings, family, children, and husband. Throughout her life, Margaret was many things: crafty, inventive, feisty, hard-working . . . but her shining attributes had to be her brutal honesty and sense of humor. She was hilarious and witty even through her final days, and she’d never let an interaction pass without making sure there was laughter. Margaret is survived by her children, Debra (Stephanie) Hillius, Linda Freeman, Bart Livingston, and Danny Livingston, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children, Charlotte Welch, Gregory Livingston, Thomas Livingston, John Livingston, and Diana Livingston. The family she leaves behind is numerous and boundless, much like the love she shared with everyone in her life. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 - 5:00 pm - 117 6th Ave. W, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
