Marion Herrett Kerr of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away at the age of 92 at St. Luke’s Hospital August 11, 2020. Marion was the only daughter of Evelyn and Norman Herrett, born in Kemmerer, Wyoming April 15, 1926. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1946. Marion was married and moved from the area for several years before moving back To Twin Falls. She worked at Herrett’s Jewelry and assisted her father with his dream, the Herrett Museum. Over the years she was active in the community. She helped start the Crime Stoppers and Mr. McGruff programs. She was active in church her whole life and for many years attended the Methodist Church with her “little mother,” Lilly. She enjoyed her membership in the Red Hat Glitzy Chix and the Orchid Society of Twin Falls. She loved to travel and went on many adventures. Marion Herrett Peterson Kerr married John Kerr May 8, 1988. After their marriage Marion moved with John to Saudi Arabia where he worked for the Saudi Government. They returned to Twin Falls when John retired. Marion is survived by her dear husband, John Kerr, her sister Kay Wilson of Denver, Colorado, four of her six children, Kathryn (Kathy) Peterson, Nick Peterson, Mark Peterson, Leslie Milliron. Passed is David and Mike Peterson; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Parke’s Funeral Home is handling a private family service.
