Mary Lou Drown Resident of Buhl, Idaho and formerly of Gooding, Idaho went home to be with Our Heavenly Father on July 5, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Mary was born to Christian Wilhelm and Violet Mae Johnson Marquardt on September 11, 1942 in Yankton, SD. When Mary was a young child, they moved to Gooding, ID. She was the Third child out of 6 children. In 1962, Mary graduated from Gooding High School. She married Doral Ray Ainsworth on February 22, 1963. To this union were born 3 beautiful children, Patty May Medina, Ernie Ainsworth and Debbie Blick. They were later divorced. She married Leroy Walker Powell and had two more beautiful children, Robert Lee Powell and Thomas Powell. Mary worked different jobs throughout her life. She married Whelan Drown in 1993. She loved the great Outdoors. Surviving Mary are her children, Patty & Steve Medina; Ernie & Tena Ainsworth & Debbie & Shan Blick; Robert Powell & Thomas Powell, all of Buhl, ID; She has 9 beautiful grandchildren, Steven Medina of California; Anna Medina of Minnesota; Brittany Ainsworth of Oregon; Jorden & Brenna Ainsworth of Buhl, ID; Erna & Scott Chamness of Mountain Home, ID; Lynzee & Matthew Berheim of Buhl, ID; DJ Bastian & DellRay Bastian of Kimberly, ID; Kurt Powell of Twin Falls, ID; and 2 step grandchildren, Stevie Stevenson and Zach Highbarger; Also surviving are her 5 great grandchildren, Dante Bastian of Twin Falls. ID; Tayzin Bastian & Americas Bastian of Kimberly, ID; McKennly Berheim of Buhl, ID; and Jaxx Ainsworth of Buhl, ID with one on the way. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. She was preceded in death by her Mom & Dad, Christian and Violet Marquardt and her 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 4 husbands, one daughter, Violet Zaebal, and one great grandson, Logan Ray Blick Chamness. She was known to many people as Mom & Grandma and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. The family would like to say “Thank you to Dr. Mason and Staff at Buhl Medical Services, the RN’s at Idaho Home Health & Hospice, Tom Owens & Bishop Montgomery of the Buhl 3rd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the staff of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID. "We Love You" Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma. Funeral services for Mary Drown will be on Monday July 13, 2020 at 2 PM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls Idaho.
