Mary Roweana O’Donnell Eskridge Mary Eskridge, of Twin Falls, Idaho, unexpectedly completed her journey in this life July 25, 2022, following cancer treatment complications. Mary was born October 18, 1949, in Hailey, Idaho to Anna Faye and Jack O’Donnell. She attended grade school and junior high at Bellevue School, graduated from Wood River High School, and went on to attend the University of Idaho in Moscow before transferring to and graduating from Idaho State University in Pocatello. In her youth, Mary was active in Job’s Daughters, achieving the office of Honored Queen, a tradition she would eventually pass on to her daughter and granddaughters. She married Dale Eskridge in 1969 and they had three children. They later divorced and Mary went on to dedicate her life to raising and providing for their children. Her children, and later her grandchildren, were the highest priorities in her life and she worked tirelessly to make sure she did everything she could for them. She often sacrificed her own comfort and went without for those she loved, though she never admitted to doing so and never complained. Mary spent her career in the car business, working behind the scenes for several different new and used car dealers in Twin Falls, often simultaneously, to ensure title and other sale documentation was in order. Through her work, she made many close connections with agents of the local department of motor vehicles and state transportation department, as they knew she could be trusted to hold the highest standards and deliver flawless work. These agencies were even known to call her with questions regarding car titles from time to time. In addition to spending as much time as she could with her family, Mary enjoyed going out to eat with her friends, watching her stories, reading books, watching movies, and predicting who would win the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. She had a lifelong interest in history and appreciated exploring local historical sites. Disneyland was her favorite place in the world, and she took her last trip there with her family in May 2022, zipping around the parks on her scooter and having a blast. Mary is survived by her children Michelle (Justin) Rector, Heather (Russ) Hoyt, and Senate (Cari) Eskridge, three granddaughters, four grandsons, and countless friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, followed by Graveside Services at 3:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue, Idaho.
