Ruth Mary Nutting

Mary Ruth Nutting, 88, of Kimberly, was called home February 17, 2022. She was born on February 4, 1934 in Kimberly, Idaho to Edmon and Florence Kimball. Ruth was the oldest of 7. The Kimball family moved to Buhl, Idaho where she later met and married Gerald Nutting on April 27, 1950. They soon had two children Steve in 1950 and Dave in 1955. Ruth work at Herretts Gun Stock. She took great pride in the fact that stocks she made went all over the world. They bought a farm south of Kimberly. They worked together until Gerald retired in 1994. Ruth was a Pentecostal girl her whole life and her first love was savior Jesus Christ. Ruth is survived by her two children Steve and Dave Nutting, many grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Nutting, her parents, and two siblings. A viewing will be held on February 24, 2022 beginning at 12pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm, followed by a reception - all held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd Twin Falls, Idaho. A graveside will be held at Twin Falls Cemetery following the reception.
