MaryAnn Meier

Maryann Meier, age 65, of Twin Falls, passed away at home on July 9,2021, surrounded by her family. Maryann was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 14,1956 to Reuben and Marjorie Simon. She attended schools in Idaho Falls and got her GED at CSI. Maryann married David Meier on May 27, 1995 in Buhl, Idaho. Maryann loved to cruise and travel. Family and friends were always welcome. Especially enjoyed kicking around in her garden and collecting her chicken eggs from Hocus, Pocus, Louise, Cyndi Lauper, Chicken Nugget, Chicken Strips, and Snowball. Maryann was mother to 4 children: Luke(Caitlin)Stoker, Jeff(Lacie) McCaskill, Tera McCaskill, and Cathy(Cody)Bastian. She has 16 grand kids and 5 great-grand kids. Maryann is survived by husband David of Twin Falls. She is survived by brothers Russell Simon and Mike(Mary)Simon. Sisters are Linda(Clint) Sisson, Sharon(Richard)Paar, and Annie(Mike)Hubele. Maryann is preceded by parents, grandparents, sister Diana Lee, and nephew Robert Simon. A Celebration of Life will be held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301, on Sunday July 18, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Valley House or Women's Crisis Center, or the charity of your choice.
