Matthew James Caroline, 28 of Twin Falls Idaho passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born in San Jose, California on November 18, 1993 to Bob and Betty Caroline. While attending WRHS in Hailey, Idaho he was in choir and a part of the b-tones. He received his GED from CSI one year ahead of his graduating class. Matt was currently going to Aveda Institute Twin Falls to fulfill one of his many passions, barbering. He was so full of love and life, he loved being outdoors and it didn’t matter what the weather was. He had the biggest heart for anyone and everyone, he would give a stranger the shirt off his back. His hugs could soothe the soul from anything. Matt loved snowboarding, snowmobiling, swimming, camping, and fishing or really anything that involved going outside and hanging out with his friends. Matt was on a dart league and loved playing darts anytime he could. He was so passionate about music, it didn’t matter what kind, something was always on. Matthew got that passion from his father Bob. Whom he spent the majority of his adult life as a tile setter. No matter where his family lived they always had an open door policy. Friends were constantly coming in and out! Always with a smile on their faces and laughing with the family. Betty always made sure that everyone was fed, constantly checking on them all no matter how far away they were. She is known as “mamma Betty” to anyone and everyone. Each and every person who knows her as, “mamma Betty” he considered to be his brother or sister. Matthew is survived by his parents, Bob and Betty Caroline. His partner Cassi Gorringe and their two dogs Sunny and Moonshine. His big brother Kevin Vawter with his wife Danielle and cousins Joseph, Jarrett, and Jillian. His older sister Rachel, her partner Frank Sheperis and his favorite doggie Hana. Matt had a deep love for the 49ers so we ask for everyone to either wear something 49ers or his favorite color red to the service. Services will be held on Saturday, March 5th from 1-4 at 360 Main event center, 348 4th ave. S, Twin Falls, Id. During this time in lieu of flowers the family requests any pictures you have of Matthew for their keeping. There is also a memorial fund set up at First Federal bank if anyone would like to donate to the family to help with any costs during this time.
