Maudine Kiker Halstead, age 91, of Twin Falls, Idaho, peacefully passed away at home with her loving daughter by her side on June 22, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Maudine, and her twin brother Claude, was born February 13, 1929 to ldas and Annie Kiker in Perry, Arkansas. Maudine married Richard Halstead in 1948 in Reno, Nevada. She worked in a school cafeteria for many years until her husband retired. Maudine loved to travel or just ride in the country to see the scenery and animals of the area. She enjoyed being outdoors with her little dogs and growing many different types of flowers. She also enjoyed reading and sewing. In 2016, she moved to Montana to be with her daughter Linda and son-in-law Floyd. In 2018 they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. Maudine was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 1994 and her son, Richard, in 2012. She is survived by her daughters Linda (Floyd) Thomas of Twin Falls, Idaho, Elizabeth (Ron) Day of Nampa, Idaho and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Maudine will be buried by her family in Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, California. Services will be held at 11 am on July 2, 2020 at the cemetery.
