Melissa Joy Brackman

While surrounded by her family, Melissa Joy Brackman was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Dec 27th 2020. She was born July 28th, 1976 in Twin Falls, Idaho to the late William and Judy Brackman. After graduation, her working career began at the Twin Falls Public Library and went on to include various responsibilities at Seastrom Manufacturing, Premier/Hub International Insurance, and Agri-Store, where she served in the Human Resources Department. To know Missy was to love her. She was a most generous and caring person, always serving others. A true sister and friend. She had many hobbies including gardening, weaving, cooking & baking. Every room in her home reflected her warm, unique personality, but the kitchen was her favorite place to be. Her family & friends were often treated to her culinary masterpieces. She loved exploring the outdoors, camping, hiking, skiing, and capturing beautiful scenes with her photographic abilities. She was an avid reader, as well as a skilled cellist & pianist. Even in the most challenging circumstances, she approached life with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and joy. She could always brighten a room with her presence. All that knew her were blessed by the Christian testimony she lived. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Judy. She is survived by her brothers, Matthew (Darlene) and Drew (Bethany). A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 4th 2021, at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID. II Tim 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight.
