Michael Anthony “tony” Martin Michael Anthony “Tony” Martin, age 62, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away March 1, 2021 doing what he loved the most, speeding down the open road with the wind on his face riding his beloved Harley Davidson Motorcycle “Esmerelda”. Those that knew him know that he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way, and though we are sad for our loss, we are grateful that he is finally free. Tony was born February 15th, 1959 in San Leandro, California to Jackson Anthony and Patricia Ann Martin (Johnson). He graduated from Hansen High School in 1977. In 1982 Tony married his first love Mindy Joy. Together they had a daughter Andrea Nicole whom he lovingly referred to as Booger. He and Mindy later divorced but remained close friends up until his death. He often said that her opinion was one of few in his life that he really valued. He later married Angela Kirby and together they had a son, Michael Anthony known to Tony simply as Son. Through a long-term relationship, Tony gained a bonus daughter, Keisha Rose whom he loved like his own. Tony was never one to take the easy road and though life knocked him down many times, he always found a way to get back up. He loved to make people laugh and could often be heard cracking jokes or singing some silly version of whatever song was in his head. Tony was quick witted, thought fast on his feet and could wheel and deal like no other. Like MacGyver he could figure out a way to fix anything that was broken with nothing but super glue, baking soda and some duct tape. Though he had a tough exterior, Tony wasn’t afraid to show his softer side and has been known to tear up at something as simple as sharing his birthday with one of his grandsons. Never one to be idle, Tony spent a lot of his time tinkering with the many things he collected. Staying true to his image, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add anything with a skull or a motorcycle to his collection and he considered it a bonus if it was adorned with chrome. Tony could EAT! He would go out of his way to clear out left overs at his daughter’s house and it became a running joke that if grandpa Tony was coming over we should have an extra gallon of milk as we knew it would be at least ½ gone before he left. The last couple of years, Tony found pride in his job at the carwash and became a valued employee and friend to his boss Jim and the many customers he went out of his way to ensure they had a great experience. Though he didn’t have much, he did have a big heart and he would go out of his way help those who were less fortunate than him. The last few years brought healing to relationships and he is going to be terribly missed by those he loved and that loved him. Tony is survived by his children; Andrea (Dusty) Blackburn of Kimberly, Michael Martin of Neosho, MO, and Keisha (Timothy) Courtney of Neosho, MO. His sisters Sue Martin-Ferreira and Shirley Martin-White both of California and Darcy Johnson of Missouri. His grandchildren Jace, Jax, Rachael, Bryston, Katara and Willow. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, and Jackson Anthony Martin and Patricia Ann Johnson.
