Myrna Tvrdy

Myrna Fife, 92, passed away on July 15, 2022.  She devoted her life to her husband and children.  She will always be remembered for her love of family and her sense of humor. 

Myrna was born on December 4, 1929, to Wilbert Dolan Fife and Myrella Ann Cole in Dayton, Idaho. 

Myrna grew up on a farm near Preston, Idaho.  In November of 1938, her family moved to Filer, Idaho.  She lived there until November of her senior year In high school, when the family move to Jerome, Idaho.  Mynra married Emil John Tvrdy on November 17, 1948. 

Myrna and Emil lived on a farm outside of Buhl, Idaho until 2001.  They sold the farm and moved to Twin Falls.  Emil passed in February of 2003.  Myrna remained in Twin Falls until September of 2019, where she moved to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Kevin and Pam Hranac, in Ogden Utah.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Kevin) Hranac, and Terri (Dennis) Poulin and son-in-law Terry Brown.    Her sister’s, Ollie Jean Johnson and Sharon Belnap.  Six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Tvrdy and her daughter, Vicky Lynn Brown, and brothers, Dean, Clare and Dale Fife.      

The family will have a visitation on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 9 – 9:45 am at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls.  Funeral services will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10 AM.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Jerome Cemetery.
