Upon graduating, she embarked on a new chapter in South Carolina, where she would encounter the love of her life, Frankie Wood, and in 1984, they exchanged vows and embarked on a shared path. Their journey took them from South Carolina to Idaho and back, weaving a tapestry of memories spanning decades.
Natalie's career path was a testament to her heart's boundless kindness as she devoted herself to caring for individuals with developmental disabilities. Her unwavering dedication left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
In her personal life, Natalie radiated warmth and joy. She had an unshakable commitment to family, never missing an opportunity to gather with loved ones. Although she and her husband were unable to have children of their own, they bestowed their love upon nieces and nephews, treating them as their own.
Natalie possessed a wanderlust spirit and found solace in the beauty of the world, often embarking on adventures to picturesque destinations, soaking in the wonders of each place she visited.
Natalie is survived by her two beloved sisters, Marianne (Zane) Yokom of Twin Falls and Kimberly (Wayne) Hodge of South Carolina, as well as a cherished circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frankie Wood, her father, Joe Ellis, her mother, Juanita Perrine, and her sister, Jody Squires.
Natalie (Ellis) Wood touched the lives of many with her unwavering love and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and cherished memories. Her presence will forever be missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
