Pat (Patricia) Wiedmeier With very sad hearts we must say goodbye to our dear Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great Great Grandma, Aunt and Friend. Mom passed away at Grace Memory Care surrounded by her family. On November 29th Jesus welcomed a true Angel home. Pat was born in Harvey, North Dakota on January 16, 1935, to Alvina Weber. Pat attended grade school at St. Cecilia Catholic School in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1953. That school year she was crowned Homecoming Queen chosen by the football squad. Mom married Ken Wiedmeier on June 11, 1955, at ST. Cecilia Church in Harvey while he was on leave from The United States Navy. They honeymooned in Canada. Pat worked at the movie theater in Harvey and later at the bank. She and dad lived in Rugby and Minot before moving to Filer in 1966. Mom ran a daycare out of our home. We are pretty sure half the children in Filer were under her care at one time or another. Pat was also a CCD Teacher at St. Edwards Catholic Church, and for many years was the Produce Superintendent at the Twin Falls County Fair, working with her dear friend Audrey. Mom and dad met lifelong friends in Filer and our families enjoyed camping and fishing together. They also got together to play cards or just enjoy the friendship. Mom and dad loved to dance, any Waltz or Polka and they were on the floor. Pat was also a great bread maker and her dumplings were quite the rave by anyone fortunate enough to eat them. Mom loved family gatherings so much that Thanksgiving dinner would be the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving so everyone could come. At the time of her death, mom was a member of The Immaculate Conception Church in Buhl. Pat was proceeded in death by her husband Ken and son-in-law David Bausman. Pat is survived by her children Tammy (Tim) Lynard, Jody (John) Holloway, Vikki Brewer, Jamie (Art) Henry, Steve (Lisa) Wiedmeier, 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous cousins and dear friends. We, the family of Pat Wiedmeier, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to Audrey and Lilian who led us in saying the Rosary and Andrea for driving her to church. To the amazing staff at Grace Memory Care, Thank you for caring and loving our mom as your own, and to Visions Hospice for helping us through this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held on December 11th at 11:00am at The Immaculate Conception Church, located at 1701 Poplar St. Buhl, ID. Contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Patricia Wiedmeier's name. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family in the guestbook below.
