Randy Wayne Price was born to Royal Ervin Price and Donna "Maxine" (Duvall) Price on May 20, 1954 and went to be with his father on July 8, 2019. Randy was surrounded by his family and friends. Randy was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating and stock car racing. He was known for his silly sense of humor, tasty BBQ and bringing in the next big catch. He was voted "fan favorite" at Magic Valley Speedway in 2001. Randy started his life in Tracy, California. He joined his big brother, 2 sisters and became a big brother himself with the birth of a little brother. He had a talent of alarming his parents. He was struck with Whooping Cough at the age of 2, spending several days in an iron lung. At the age of 3, he received severe burns by pulling a hot iron off his moms ironing board. Randy was a curious little fellow and found out what happens when you take a sharp knife and cut an electrical cord that is plugged in(he did have curly hair afterall). Life in the Price home settled down a little when he found a fascination with the cows at the dairy farm his father worked on. At the age of 8, the family moved to San Jose and there he found a new obsession in the form of anything with a motor. Randy spent endless hours in the garage. In his midteens, he further cemented his love of racing when watching super modified car racing at San Jose Speedway. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted into the United States Navy and served on the aircraft carrrier the USS Kittyhawk. Between deployments, Randy married his wife of 43 years, Margaret Florence Markobrad. When Randy finished his service in the Navy, he and Margaret moved to Dietrich Idaho to join his parents and siblings on the family farm. Randy is known for his abilities for driving fast in his haystacker as to get the work done so that there was time to play. In November 1980, Randy & Margaret welcomed their only child, a daughter Anita Renea. Later, his family moved to Shoshone, where Randy resided until his passing. During those years in Shoshone, he was employed by Wards Cheese, Avonlea and Glambia until his retirement. In November of 2018, Randy & Debra Lynn were married in a lovely ceremony at Randy's house. Randy is survived by his wife Debra Lynn, Daughter Anita, grandsons Gabriel, Jorden and Joseph. Also surviving is mother Maxine, brother Roy Allen (Rowena), sisters Karen Kay (Lee) and Pattie Yvonne (Bill) and Ronnie Ray (Cathy). Randy enjoyed getting into shenagigans with his many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceeded in death by his father Royal, several grandparents and his beloved dog Gaia. Randy will be laid to rest in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetary, Boise Idaho, July 26th at 1:00pm.
