Richard Andrew Myers

Richard Andrew Myers, born May 6th, 1949 in Malad, Idaho, passed away on June 10th, 2019 in Twin Falls Idaho. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. In life he was a long-haul truck driver, and it his later years he drove school bus for local schools. He always enjoyed being active, whether it just be walking around the block, or hiking for miles. He enjoyed baseball very much, and he played softball for many years. His love of sports was passed onto his children and grandchildren. Whenever Richard wasn't on the field playing you could always find him in the bleachers teaching his team to be competitive, to work hard, and above all play fair and have good sportsmanship. Richards also loved being outdoors camping in his travel trailer. Richard is survived in death by his wife, Shirley Myers (Shoshone, ID), eldest son Richard J Myers (Twin Falls, ID), youngest son Dustin Myers (Shoshone, ID), his siblings, Mike Myers, Bill Myers, Sharron Myers, Susie Proctor, Barbara Kessler, and his grandchildren Kylon, Tyler, Anthony, Katryna, Kaleb, Michaiah, Elliot, Thomas, and Gabriel. He was proceeded in death by his mother Florence Myers, and his brother Tommy Myers. He also loved his pet Dobby too.
