Robert Edward Johnson, 93, of Jerome Idaho, was ushered into the presence of Jesus early Sunday morning November 8, 2020 A longtime resident of Buhl, Idaho, Bob was born to Albert and Beulah Johnson in Twin Falls, on July 28, 1927 Bob or Bobbie ( as some remember him) grew up on the farm northeast of Buhl. He graduated from Buhl High School in 1945 He worked in farming and farm related work all his working life. Additionally, he did custom farm work, truck farming, mechanics, fabrication, construction, road work, heavy equipment operation, semi-trucking hauling, Pet Milk route (ten gallon cans), milked cows, raised livestock (beef, pork, poultry), did design and invention. A renaissance farmer. Bob was known for his generosity. He was quick to help those in need. Bob found real joy in helping others. He had a great sense of humor and laughed a lot Bob never married or had children, however many friends loved him and became his family. "Uncle Bob" was well admired by his nieces and nephews He loved puzzles, crosswords, sudoku, and other games. He loved animals and they loved him. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Beulah Johnson, sisters Lerlene Morrison, Cleola Muegel, Betty Tracy and brother Donald Johnson. He is survived by four generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins Special thanks Charles and Donna Oneida for sharing their home, love and caring for Bob these last few years The family suggests donation in Bob's name to be made to Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home to help offset final expenses and for a grave monument. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home , 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls Idaho.
