Robert Jay McRoberts

Robert Jay McRoberts, 68, died August 8, 2023 at Willow Place Assisted Living in Twin Falls, Idaho near his children and grandchildren. He was born February 24, 1955, in Lewiston Idaho, the son of Robert L. McRoberts and Barbara J. (Wilson) McRoberts. Robert was an avid hunter and a proud Veteran. He served with the U.S. Army for over 12 years in Virginia, Washington, Alaska, Germany, Missouri, and Korea. Robert loved spending time with his family and dog. His grandchildren and dog Mister Padfoot were the lights of his life. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. McRoberts. Survived by his mother, Barbara (Wilson) McRoberts; wife Elizabeth (Schiller) McRoberts of Texas; son Chris McRoberts and his wife Carolyn McRoberts of Idaho; daughters, Alicia McRoberts and her husband Ken Crockett of Idaho, Jackie McRoberts of Oregon; five grandchildren, Lucas McRoberts, Annabelle McRoberts, Ashton Baird, Carter Baird, and Emma Crockett; one brother, Bill McRoberts and his wife Cheryl McRoberts of Alaska. A military honors service will be performed at a future date. Robert’s children will be scattering his ashes on the mountain where he loved to hunt at a yet to be determined date.
