Rogna Loraine McDonnell Dec 9, 1939 - Oct 16, 2021 Rogna Loraine (Rasmussen) McDonnell passed peacefully from natural causes on October 16, 2021 after suffering with pneumonia at St Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls Idaho. Rogna was born on December 9th, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents Willard Harry Rasmussen and Mary Louise (Hoffman) Rasmussen and two sisters Louise Marie (Rasmussen) Lyons and Janice Lee (Rasmussen) Shipp preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Vernon Harry Rasmussen (Joyce) and her sister Connie Lynn (Rasmussen) Bevington. And her closest Twin Falls friend Sherri Elson. There are also several nephews and their families and extended family members. Rogna lived in many places during her childhood including Salt Lake City Utah, Boise and Pocatello Idaho, Yakama and Seattle Washington, San Francisco, California and for many years in Twin Falls, Idaho. Rogna was an artist and worked with oil paints, water colors, hand carving in wood, silk screen, and pottery. Her employment career included professional sign painter, the restaurant business where she worked as a waitress, and cook. She also cooked for a large nursing home. She worked at Hastings Book Store in Twin Falls until her retirement. Rogna also enjoyed being with her family and traveling with family. She was married to Charles McDonnell and later divorced.
