Roxanne Ranae Meeuwsen was born Aug. 27th 1971 in Forest Grove Oregon, to Patricia Lynn and Samuel Ernest Stokley. She graduated form Hillsboro High school, then obtained her BA in Psychology from Northwest College in Kirkland. She completed her graduate degree from Western Evangelical Seminary in Tigard Oregon receiving a Masters in Counseling. Roxanne was currently residing in Gaston Oregon and passed away while on vacation in Twin falls Idaho. Roxanne married Greg Alvin Meeuwsen on Aug 26th 1995, in Hillsboro Oregon. Roxanne loved life! She was a helper to many. She faithfully served her community though her work and volunteer work, by serving as a children’s pastor, a marriage and family counselor, a teacher/tutor, and a volunteer/advocate at Love Inc. Roxanne attended and was very active at City Gate Church in Hillsboro Oregon. Roxanne loved the Lord with all of her heart. Roxanne loved to camp, and go to the beach. She loved crafting and she loved music and worship. Roxanne loved to do anything that involved her family. Family was incredibly important to Roxanne. She is survived by her loving husband Greg A. Meeuwsen, her mother Patricia L. Stokley, her sister Amy Johnson, her children Jules Meeuwsen-Bascuti, Selena Meeuwsen, Cedric Meeuwsen, Cassie Heisler, Sean Heisler, Angela Powell, Darren Hatch, and Tiffany Cross, fifteen beautiful grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and 10 nieces and nephews. A memorial Celebration of Life, will be held in Hillsboro Oregon, October 16th, 1:30 PM, at City Gate Church. The service will be lived streamed for those who cannot attend.
