Ruby Kenney

On February 20, 2020 our dear mother, Ruby Allene Kenney passed away from this earth to her celestial home to be united with those that passed before her. Ruby was born on September 30, 1931 in Cordell, Oklahoma to James and Fardie Shrum. She had three brothers and one sister, Marvin (Ida) Shrum, James Shrum (passed as an infant), Juanita (George) Hefley, Kenneth Shrum. She married her High school sweetheart, Paul A. Kenney on February 14, 1952, who proceeded her in death on October 12, 2005. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Collin (Vicki) Kenney, Sidney Dustin Kenney, and Kristi Kenney, seven grandchildren & nine great grandchildren. Ruby loved being around family and friends and never knew an enemy. Everyone that knew our beautiful mother loved her. She was a vital art of her grand children’s lives, helping to raise them & care for them. The grandchildren, great grandchildren and all their friends knew her as “Manga”. There will never be another like her in our eyes. She will be deeply missed by so many! Rest in Grace and Peace Momma! There will be no immediate services. Family & friends will gather in the Spring/Summer, location TBD.
