Terry Gene Rogers age 74 of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away at home with his family by his side on August 6, 2019. Terry was born in Rupert Idaho January 28, 1945 to Ellwin H. Rogers and LuRay B. Dodge Rogers. He attended school in Carey, Shoshone, Gooding and Wood River Idaho. Terry went to work for Sun Valley Resort the summer between is Junior and Senior year of High School and decided he wanted to stay through the school year. He said Dad wouldn't let him drop out of high school to work. If he was going to stay up there to work he had to finish high school in Wood River. Terry graduated high school from Wood River High School in the spring of 1964. He later attended CSI and received an Associates Degree in Business. Terry lived in Seattle Washington for several years working for Boeing. He then went to Dallas, Texas where he lived with his Brother Virgil and his family for a few years before coming back to Gooding, Idaho to settle. Terry met his wife Patricia Gilman in 1982 through some mutual friends and were later married on May 16, 1996 in Elko Nevada. Terry and Patricia moved to Twin Falls in 1992 and spent the last 27 years traveling to Alabama to visit children and grandchildren, to Oregon, Utah and Idaho to visit brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. Terry loved to go camping and fishing. He enjoyed making fishing poles and tieing flies. He enjoyed bowling on friday nights with Patricia and friends. He enjoyed family reunions. He loved seeing family and visiting with them. Terry is survived by his Spouse Patricia, Stepson Tom Mabe (Casandra) of Twin Falls, 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers: Dan Rogers (Linda) of Pocatello, Idaho, Monte Rogers (Janice) of Kaysville, Utah, Fred Rogers (Marila) of Twin Falls, Idaho, Sisters: Kay Willes (Brian) of Boise, Idaho, Lorie Ann Jeske (Mark) of Kimberly, Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by his Stepson Tony Gilman, parents Ellwin H Rogers and LuRay B. Dodge Rogers, 3 Brothers Ray Rogers, Virgil Rogers and Carl Rogers. and 2 beautiful nieces Sherri Lyn and Britani. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1228 S. Main St, Gooding, Idaho. Viewing is at 1:00 p.m. Funeral at 2:00 p.m. Burial immediately Following and Gooding Cemetery.
