Thomas Dale Taylor 66, of Twin Falls, Idaho went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Also known as, "Tom/Tommy & Groovy." He was born December 31, 1958, in Jerome, Idaho to Thomas G. Taylor and Monica A. (Osborn) Taylor.
He was the oldest of eight children. Dale (Julie) Taylor, Jill (Mark) Quaintance, Glenn (Wendy) Taylor, Jerry (Jacque) Kalas, Chris (Tess) Kalas, Kelley (Jason) Freeman and Linda (Rob) Sollers.
Tom loved his family more than life itself; he would do anything for anyone. A very humble man with a giving nature and always lending an ear if anybody needed a good listener.
He was a "Car Guy." He was obsessed with old school "muscle cars." He could fix anything with four wheels. Always working in the automotive industry, he received his ASE Certification at the College of Southern Idaho. He wore side pliers in a leather holster just in case he needed to fix something.
Tom married Kerry Heck in Twin Falls, Idaho on November 10, 1979. To this union three children were born. Thomas Taylor, Terrence (Christine) Taylor and Tollie (Mike) Pulizzi. He was genuinely proud of all of his kids. This union was later dissolved.
He then married Dianna Arterburn. They were later divorced.
Tom was preceded in death by his father: Thomas G. Taylor, mother: Monica A. Northern, stepmother: Kathryn Taylor and little sister: Kelley Lee Freeman.
He is survived by his stepfather: David D. Northern, his children and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
Tom was a member of Twin Falls Lighthouse Christian Church. He loved Jesus and was always willing to tell the "Good News" everywhere he went.
He was also a devoted member of the Magic Valley Fellowship Hall. Many folks knowing him as "GROOVY." He was an inspiration to so many people in recovery, always willing to share his experience, strength and hope. He definitely leaves a legacy of love.
The apple of his eye was not only his children first and foremost, but the love and adoration he had for his grandchildren was remarkable and heartfelt. He leaves behind DeLaynie (Sparkles) Taylor, Peyton (P.J.) Pulizzi and Michael (Bubba) Pulizzi. They will always love and forever remember their "Grandpa Ham."
It is with tremendous sadness and great sorrow that we had to say our "See You Later's and I Love You's," but, we also find peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and that he fought valiantly, and he is in the loving arms of Jesus. We will be reunited one day as God has a special plan for all of us.
A celebration Of Tom's Life will be scheduled at a later date.
And in the words of Tom T. "God Bless."
