Toinette Lyons Lee

June 21, 1937 — November 20, 2021

Toinette Lyons Lee, age 84 of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed peacefully at Cenoma House surrounded by her children on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Toni was born in Burley, Idaho on June 21, 1937 to Earl Dean and Afton Delora Draney Lyons. Toni met Berry Lee in Twin Falls and they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on June 22, 1955. They were married 59 ½ years and were blessed with five children. Toni led a full life, but endured many challenges in her childhood. She practiced her maternal skills, along with her sister Sandra, by taking care of their much younger brother, Tom. Mom’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends. She was a homemaker who always had a home-cooked meal on the table every evening. She enjoyed playing cards and board games and visiting on the front porch on warm summer evenings. She loved drives to the South Hills for picnics. She liked to crochet and spent many hours crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for reading and looked forward to her afternoon rest with a book. She also loved a good movie, with one of her cats curled on her lap. Mom enjoyed trips to Newport, Oregon and traveling across the country with Dad where they collected many knick-knacks. Toni was predeceased by her beloved husband, Berry in 2015. She is survived by her children Debra (Steve) Garner of Twin Falls; Lisa (Steve) Lee-High of Sarasota, FL; Lorraine (Earl) Pistante of Minden, NV; Perry (Sheila) Lee of Twin Falls; and Victor (Roxana) Lee of Twin Falls. She had 18 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Ward of Twin Falls; Rebecca (Bruce) Pincock of Hazelton, ID; Teresa (Wilford) Birth of Centerville, UT, and her brothers Tom (Connie) Lyons of Burley, ID; and Gregg (Erin) Lyons of Brigham City, UT. Our family would like to thank Cenoma House for their wonderful care and compassion since 2016 and St. Luke’s Hospice Care for the additional tender care she was given the last few years of her life. At her request, she will be cremated and a family gathering and celebration of her life will be held in the South Hills next summer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please sign the guest book and share your fond memories of Toni through Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home website: magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
