Vance Parker Mason, Twin Falls, Idaho, after a short battle with lung cancer, passed peacefully on March 30, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho with his loving family at his side. Vance was born in Jerome, Idaho October 7, 1961 to Edmond Eugene Mason born in Wendell, Idaho and Billie Parker Mason, born in Pocatello, Idaho. He attended schools in Kimberly, Idaho and graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1979. He spent two years at CSI, Twin Falls, Idaho and finishing his Bachelor of Science degree at Boise State University in 1984. Vance met the love of his life while attending BSU and he married Robin Ann Rhodes of Idaho Falls, Idaho on November 1, 1986. Together they brought three beautiful children into this world, son, Kyle Parker, daughters, Corey Leigh and Riley Marie. Their children had some health challenges early in their lives, and Vance being the doting father he was, took care of their needs. Vance always loved the outdoors, and in his younger years he enjoying fishing, hunting, trap Shooting, golf, skiing and bowling. He liked all sports especially BSU team games. After his children were born, he concentrated on their activities attending all track meets, softball games, bowling tournaments and seeing that his girls got to do what they wanted. In 1991, Vance joined his father and brother in their family business, Mason's Trophies & Gifts. He became an essential part of the business, becoming a master engraver. His knowledge of sports was a huge help with the coaches and he never forgot a name. He found his true calling when he joined the Masonic Twin Falls Lodge #45 and was raised as a Master Mason on October 26, 2011. He received the District Mason of the Year from the Grand Lodge in 2016. In the York Rite, he was a member of King Solomon Chapter 16, Royal Arch Masons, where he served as High Priest in 2017. He was a member of the Twin Falls Council No. 7, Cryptic Masons, where he served as illustrious Master in 2018 and received the Adult Youth Leadership Award in 2017. He was a member of Twin Falls Commandery 10, Knights Templar, where he served as Eminent Commander in 2019 and 2020. Vance was also a member of St. Michael Conclave Red Cross of Constantine: Tri-Valley York Rite College No. 178; Idaho Chapter of Knights Preceptor; and Syringa Order No. 121 Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill. Vance was also active in the Job's Daughter and the Order of the Eastern Star. Vance is survived by his wife, Robin, son Kyle (Alicia) Mason daughter Brinley Sage and son Connor Vance, Twin Falls, Idaho , daughters Corey (Daniel) Sullivan and son Isaac Parker, Boise, Idaho and Riley Marie Mason, Pocatello, Idaho. Also survived by his mother Billie Mason, Twin Falls, Idaho, Aunts Bette Jo (Johnnie) Cline, St. George, Utah, Olive Ann (Dennis) Turpin, Mandan, North Dakota, Georgene Mason, Twin Falls, Idaho and several cousins. He was preceded in death by, his father Ed Mason, Brother Wade Mason, Aunt Barbara Frith and Uncle Bud Mason. A viewing will be held April 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Parke's Funeral Home. The Service will be held April 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., also at Parke's Funeral Home.
