Vicky Lynne Tvrdy Brown, 71, passed away on February 24, 2022 in Twin Falls, Idaho surrounded by her family. Vicky was born on February 16, 1951 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Emil John Tvrdy and Mryna Fife. Vicky grew up on the family farm in Buhl. She attended Syringa Country School and graduated from Buhl High School in 1969. She attended Ricks College receiving an associates degree and BYU with a Bachelors in 1973. She married Norman Terry Brown on August 12, 1976 in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for the extension office for 4-H, Twin Falls Music Center, and Sewciety Fabric. Vicky and Terry moved to Mountain Home in 1979 for Terry’s employment. While there she became a Master Preserver. Vicky loved to cook, can, sew, do crafts, and teach. In 1987 Vicky and Terry moved back to Twin Falls. It was at this time that she started working for the Twin Falls School District as a teachers aide. In 1992 she graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelors in Elementary Education. She taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. In 2003 she retired due to health issues. After retiring she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She always had craft activities for them to do. She is survived by her husband Terry of 45 years, son Jeremy (Cindy) Brown, and daughters Sarah (Richard) Heyder and Katelyn (Joe) Codner. Her mother Mryna Fife Tvrdy, sisters Pam (Kevin) Hranac, and Teri (Dennis) Poulin. She is preceded in death by her father Emil Tvrdy. The family will have a visitation on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Parks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Twin Falls Stake Center 667 Harrison St at 11 AM.
