On Wednesday April 17, Verdie Reynolds Jr. passed away. He is now at the no tell’m fishin’ hole in the sky. For the past two months he was under the care of Genesis Care Facility. Our family would sincerely like to thank Genesis and Horizon Hospice for the care he received. He just wore out and Shirley came to collect him. After serving in the Army during World War II he re-located to Idaho, where he met and married Shirley Johnson. They were married for 55 years. Shirley preceded him in death in 2002. They had five children, Larry (Linda) Reynolds, Pat (Ren) Labrum, Norma (Phil) Rough, Curtis (Debbie) Reynolds, and Tina Sterner. From those five children Verdie was given 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Parents Verdie and Dora Reynolds, Sister Opal Nauman, Grandson Justin Reynolds, Son-In-Law Phil Rough and Shirley Reynolds his wife all preceded him in death. Sisters Darlene, Virginia, Gloria Ann, and Brother David survive him. Granddaughter Frances Christensen was such a loving helper during the last few weeks of his life. Verdie bowled 12 strikes today. We love you! A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 24, at 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
