Virginia A. Hill, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted friend passed away peacefully on October 25 2024, in her hometown of Twin Falls, Idaho, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born December 8, 1936, Virginia was a remarkable woman, known for her amazing personality and vibrant spirit that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
As a proud Valedictorian of Hansen High School, Virginia excelled in academics and went on to graduate with a business degree, showcasing her determination and intellect. Her journey through life was filled with warmth; she was a social butterfly, a very talkative and sweet individual who never met a stranger she couldn’t engage in conversation. Her charisma and friendly demeanor created bonds that will forever shine in the memories of those lucky enough to know her.
Virginia married the love of her life, Bill Hill, on May 23, 1954, at the Hansen Methodist Church. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising a family that became the essence of her proudest accomplishments. Virginia’s greatest joy came from her children – David Hill, Laura Novak (Stan Novak) and Lisa Partin (Erik Partin) – as well as her grandchildren, Amanda Partin, Kendra Hill, Jessica Schmidt, and Garrett Novak. The happiness she felt from each of them, along with her great-grandchildren, was evident to all who observed her nurturing presence.
In addition to her family, Virginia had a profound love for gardening and collecting knick-knacks. Her garden flourished under her attentive care, mirroring her nurturing spirit. Animals also held a special place in her heart, and her bond with them provided her with immeasurable joy and companionship.
An active member of the First Christian Church in Jerome, Idaho, Virginia demonstrated her faith through her community involvement. Her love for church activities and gatherings reflected her desire to connect with others, reinforcing her belief in the power of togetherness and support.
Virginia now rejoins her beloved husband, Bill Hill, who preceded her in death, along with her dear sister, Carol Bowles, and brother-in-law, Dean Bowles. She is the cherished daughter of Ida and Leslie Peterson, who welcomed her back above.
While her physical presence may no longer be with us, Virginia A. Hill's legacy of love and kindness will continue to thrive in the hearts of her family and friends. The warmth of her personality, her passion for life, and her unwavering love will be forever remembered.
