.Vivien Mae Lampe passed away on May 18, 2021 surrounded by her children. She was 84 years old. Vivien was born June 30, 1936 to Gerald and Alice (Ruhter) Siren in Twin Falls, Idaho where she joined one year old sister Beverly. Two brothers, Glen and Dean, later joined the family. She grew up on a farm, learning how to work hard and be responsible. She attended Memorial Lutheran School, O'Leary Jr High and Twin Falls High School. Her senior year she attended a Lutheran High School in Kansas with her best friend Joyce Peterson. After high school she attended radiology school in Portland, Oregon. She married Harvey Lampe on September 27, 1955 in Twin Falls. They were later divorced. Vivien worked at Twin Falls Memorial Hospital as an x-ray technician. She helped Harvey on the farm and raised 5 children; Vicki, Dennis, Brent, Jana and Tim. She was a 4-H parent, offering support for numerous animal projects and always attending their events. She moved to Boise in 1989 and lived with her sister Beverly Hawk for 23 years. During that time she worked at Idaho Housing, US Bank and Capitol Matrix. Vivien loved Boise State football and traveled to many out of state football games. She took many cruises with family members. Her favorite trip was a family trip to the San Juan island's in 1994. She really enjoyed whale watching. After retiring she moved back to Twin Falls to be near her family and church. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, serving on various committees and going weekly to help the quilting group work on quilts to be donated to MISTI. Vivien was proceeded in death by her parents and sister Beverly. She is survived by her brothers Glen Siren of Vancouver, Washington and Dean Siren of Jerome, Idaho, children Vicki of Boise, Idaho, Dennis of Jerome, Idaho, Brent of Seattle, Washington, Jana of Twin Falls, Idaho and Tim of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by 8 grandsons. She was Grandma Great to 7 great grandchildren.
