Willa Eller, age 92, of Twin Falls, Idaho, formerly of Kimberly, Idaho, passed away Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at Heritage Assisted Living Center. Willa was born in Battle Mountain, Nevada on February 11, 1930 to Lavena Pugh. She attended school in Battle Mountain with her siblings Robert, Nelda, Nadine, Melvin, and LeRoy. At the end of her sophomore year, she met the love of her life, Russell Eller. They married in July of 1946 and moved to Wendell, Idaho and then a few years later on to Kimberly, Idaho. To this union four boys joined a sister. Dixie (Willard) of Missouri, Russell of Twin Falls, Gary (Janet) of Virginia, Larry (Deceased) (Debbie) and Rocky (Mauna) of Twin Falls. Willa had many jobs during her career. Her final and most rewarding was as a cook for the Kimberly School District. She always made sure the kids were well fed. Willa loved all sports. You always knew she was watching some type of game. Her favorite games involved her kids and later grandkids. In fact, you could either hear or see Willa at all the sporting events. She made sure not to miss any games. She was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1997, a son Larry, and a daughter-in law Vicki in 2021. Willa is survived by Dixie, Russ, Gary and Rocky. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Debbie, Wade, Jeremi (JT), Brandon, Tessa, Amber, Ashley, Abby, Andrea, Sam and Ryan and 14 Great Grandchildren. Upon Willa’s wish, there will be no Funeral service. There be a grave site service held on Monday, June 6, at 10 am. She will be buried next to her beloved husband, Russell, in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Assisted Living Center and Auburn Crest Hospice for their care and compassion.
