“Doc” William Harry Eversole, age 98 of Filer, Idaho, passed away Christmas day surrounded by his family on December 25, 2019. William (Doc as his friends knew him) was born in Columbus, Ohio to Henry and Ruth Eversole. William graduated from South High School in Columbus and afterwards joined the Navy where he served on five destroyers during World War II. After the service he attended Ohio State University where he earned his degree in Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine in 1951. After graduation, William moved to New Carlisle, Ohio where he setup his Veterinarian business which he operated until he retired in 1984. In 1985 he moved to Filer, Idaho and remained there for the rest of his life. William loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and cooking and like I said above, he always kept busy. William is survived by his sister Nancy Nichols of Marina, CA, sons James William Eversole, Filer Idaho, Larry Kimberly Eversole, Mason, Ohio and his daughter Pamela Denise Rusnak, New London, Ohio. William also has seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. A private family viewing will be held Sunday December 29th and a Funeral Service will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, Idaho on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
