Yutonna Wanman

Yutonna (Toni) Faye Wanman, 82 of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with dementia. Toni was born January 9, 1939 in View, Idaho off the hill from Albion to Ernest and Louise Miller. Toni has wonderful memories of growing up on her family ranch. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1957. Toni’s family later moved to Milner and finally came to rest in Twin Falls owning and operating a motel on Kimberly Road. She married Ted Giltner and raised two daughters – Vickie and LuAnn. They were later divorced. She met and married the love of her life, Fred Wanman on December 1, 1985 in Reno, Nevada. Toni worked very hard all her life and took pride in maintaining beautiful, clean homes wherever she ranched with Fred. She enjoyed all the cows, horses and dogs that they had in their life. She also loved working outside and enjoyed maintaining a beautiful yard. Toni loved people and never knew a stranger. She excelled in customer service and was proud to care for her customer’s as she worked at North’s Chuckwagon for about 18 years until their closing. Toni loved her family and took great interest in her heritage. She told many stories of her grandparents and parents with great love. She cared for her parents until their deaths. The last several years of Toni’s life were difficult. As her dementia continued to progress, it changed her mind but it never changed her sweet soul and loving heart. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, a baby at birth and her grandson Frank. She is survived by her love-bunny Fred who will miss her tremendously, her daughters Vickie Giltner Johnson and LuAnn Giltner Davis both of California and her step-daughter, Jana Wanman of Jerome. She has four grandchildren – Jason, Melissa, Danielle and Shannon and 11 Great grandchildren – Frank, Damien, Jason, Sienna, Crash, Boss, Sophia, Raquelle, Layla, Isabelle and Mason. A service to celebrate Toni’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 30 at 4pm at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home.
