Yvonne "Patty" Wright, born on March 22, 1941, in Nevada, Missouri, peacefully passed away on May 24, 2024, in her room at Brookdale. She was surrounded by loved ones during her final moments.
Yvonne dedicated her life to caring for others as a home hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her patients were not just recipients of her care but also beneficiaries of her love and compassion. Yvonne's gentle and nurturing nature left a lasting impact on all those she cared for.
She was known for her culinary skills, with her fantastic fried chicken and potato salad being cherished by many. Beyond her professional and culinary talents, Yvonne found joy in various hobbies. An avid NASCAR fan, she particularly loved cheering for Dale Earnhardt Jr. She also enjoyed watching BSU and Kansas City Chiefs football games.
Yvonne was immensely proud of achieving her CNA license through attending CSI. Her dedication to learning and improving herself was evident throughout her life.
In the journey of life, Yvonne was predeceased by her father Dewy Baird, mother Wilma (Pullin) Baird, brother Don Baird (Susan), son Randy Robinson, granddaughter Beckey Robinson, and uncles Leonard, Dean, George, and Bill Pullin along with Aunt/sister Helen Cummins.
She is survived by her sons Terry Robinson (Joyce), Mike Robinson, Rick Wright (Holly), John Wright; grandsons Jeremy Robinson, Randy Jr. (Kylie) Robinson, Rick Wright Jr. (Shanny), Tom Robinson (Monica) and John Robinson; granddaughters Amy (Dustin) Morris, Jennifer Wright, Celeste Wright, Rachael (Luke) Toomey; great-grandchildren Tayvee Morris, Zoey Morris, and Titan Morris, Moira and Osker Toomey and Cian Robinson; as well as aunt/sister Geneal (Roger) Andrews.
Yvonne's kind spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a positive difference in the lives of so many.
